Paddy qualified from the University of Glasgow Veterinary School in 1989. She obtained the Certificate in Veterinary Radiology in 1994, the RCVS Diploma in 1996, the European Diploma in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging in 1997.

She has worked in large, mixed and small animal practice as well as in academic and private referral centres in the UK and Switzerland. She did an 18 month mixed medicine and surgery internship at the RVC and completed her postgraduate diagnostic imaging residency at the QVSH, Cambridge.

In 1998 Paddy established Cambridge Radiology Referrals which provides specialist outpatient imaging. She has lectured on many CPD courses and conferences.

She edited Diagnostic Ultrasound in Small Animal Practice: - a practical ultrasound book aimed at beginners and has been involved in a variety of clinically based publications.

In 2018 she joined the Southfields team.

Paddy has two dogs, a Norfolk Terrier and Dorcas, a beautiful Springer Spaniel. She also has two cats Camilla and Madge Mae who are red tabbies.

Clinician in Diagnostic Imaging

Miryam graduated from the University of Murcia in 2010 and moved to a veterinary teaching hospital to complete a Diagnostic Imaging Internship.  In 2013, Miryam commenced a 12 month rotation internship at Southfields (formerly VRCC) before returning to the University of Murcia to undertake a residency in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging.

In April 2018, she completed a 3-year residency programme, where she spent time at the University of Dublin and the University of Glasgow.

Miryam has published several scientific papers in Diagnostic Imaging and she has also spoken at national and international conferences.
