Briony -Duke

Briony Duke

Dip Animal Management

Nursing Assistant

In 2012, Briony completed her level 3 in Animal Management and during this time worked at a boarding kennels. Briony has also volunteered for Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, eventually becoming a socialiser and remained there for 18 months. Briony joined us in 2015 as one of our nurse assistants.

In her spare time, Briony still volunteers at local rescue centres. She has a rescue Jack Russell Terrier called Rosie.


Robyn Fitz-Gibbon

Dip Animal Care

Nursing Assistant

Robyn joined Southfields Veterinary Specialists in May 2018 and holds an Advanced Diploma in Animal Care.  She hopes to become a veterinary nurse in the future and has a particular interest in exotics and herpetology.

When she is not at work, Robyn is busy looking after two young children and her Jack Russells, Ruby and Cooper.  She also has a variety of rescue reptiles.


Maddie Goward

Nursing Assistant

Maddy joined the Southfields team in July 2017 as a Nursing Assistant. Before joining the team, Maddy worked at a greyhound kennels gaining experience handling and caring for the dogs.

Maddy has an array of animals including cocker spaniels, degus and a corn snake. In her spare time Maddy enjoys horse riding and cooking.


Aleksandra Kracj

Nursing Assistant

Aleksandra joined the Southfields team in January 2018, after working in a local veterinary practice and gaining her COAPE Diploma.

In her spare time, Aleksandra enjoys going to the theatre and spending time with her family. Aleksandra has a lovely Leonberger called Yogi.


Nicole Larson

Nursing Assistant

Nicole joined Southfields Veterinary Specialists in August 2017 as a Nursing Assistant. She is currently studying to receive her Diploma in Animal Care and Welfare Management.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys going to yoga and pilates classes. She also enjoys spending time with her two Jack Russells, Cracker and Louie.


Beverley Sutton

BSC (Hons) Animal Management

Nursing Assistant

Beverley is qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management and joined us at Southfields in June 2018.  As well as her experiences with animals through her studies, she also took on a job at a pet shop, to help build her knowledge of working and caring for pets.

As part of her dissertation, she spent many hours observing the behaviour of penguins in the London Zoo enclosure.  Visiting zoos is one of Beverley’s interests away from Southfields, along with spending time with her nieces and nephew.


Sharron Ward

Nursing Assistant

Sharron joined our reception team in November 2015. Prior to this, she worked in a first opinion veterinary practice in Romford for 12 years. After rescuing a tortoise called Shelley, Sharron decided to pursue a diploma in Herpetology. She also qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant during her time there.

Outside work, Sharron lives with her daughter, her two black cats, Pixie and Flea, her two budgies, Gie and Pip and, of course, Shelley the tortoise.


Tommy Watson

Dip Animal Care

Nursing Assistant

Tommy joined the Southfields team in May 2018 as a Nursing Assistant.

Tommy has worked in veterinary practices since 2014 and is keen to become a veterinary nurse. He is particularly interested in animal psychology.

In his spare time, Tommy likes to spend time with his family and looking after his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Jessie and his Bearded Dragon, Hagrid. He is also currently learning British Sign Language.


Chloe Humphreys

Nursing Assistant

Chloe gained her Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management in 2012 and is currently working towards her Level 3 Veterinary Support Assistant, with the goal to become a veterinary nurse. 

In her spare time, Chloe is busy looking after her daughter and her two guinea pigs, Branch and Biscuit. She enjoys reading, watching films and has a big interest in history.
