Event Overview

Oncology CPD – Sarcomas: the good, the bad and the ugly

Soft tissue sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumours. They have a relatively limited potential for metastasis, but are locally invasive, which necessitates specific management considerations. Often, a multi-modality approach is required to effect long-term tumour control. The diagnosis and treatment options (surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy) are discussed during this CPD. A small number of highly aggressive sarcoma subtypes with unique diagnostic and treatment requirements are also considered.

All CPD will be taking place in person at Southfields Veterinary Specialists in Basildon. CPD events will be recorded and will be available to catch up on after the session via our website.

Arrival is from 7 pm, there will be complimentary refreshments available. The CPD session will start promptly at 7:30 pm.
