Fabien’s career started after he graduated from the Murdoch Veterinary School in Western Australia in 2012 before moving to the UK to complete a rotating internship at Northwest Veterinary Specialists (NWVS), also owned by Linnaeus.

This was followed by time spent working as a first opinion clinician in a private veterinary clinic in the North of England, before returning to France to undertake a dermatology internship at the National Veterinary School of Toulouse (ENVT), followed by a residency at the same institution.

In 2022, Fabien became a diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology and worked as a senior clinician in the ENVT for another year, and he now joins Southfields.

Fabien said: “I’m delighted to join Southfields in its state-of-the-art facility. Along with my fellow Dermatology team members, I am particularly looking forward to working closely with our in-house diagnosticians and clinicians from Southfields’ other disciplines to offer the best possible level of care to our patients.”

Outside of work, Fabien enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his family.

Southfields, which moved into its state-of-the-art £16 million Basildon hospital last summer, offers specialist services such as anaesthesia and analgesia, cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, exotics, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, radiation and soft tissue surgery.
