Our Client Care team is here to help our pet owners and referring vets through every step of the referral process; ensuring that you know what’s happening and taking care of your comfort and any questions you may have at any time while you are with us.


Grace Surridge

Client Care Manager

Registered veterinary receptionist
Bronze, Silver and Gold BVRA awards

Grace describes herself as a sociable individual, who enjoys travelling and exploring different parts of the world.

Since leaving school Grace has worked in a small local pub both behind the bar and in the kitchen, which she loved. She also loves cooking and baking.

Grace joined the animal care industry in February 2021 and fell in love with helping people and their animals. She is keen to progress within the industry and feels Southfields is going to be the perfect place for her!


Morgan Barnes

Client Care Assistant

NVQ Health and Social care extended diploma – Level 3

Morgan has worked in customer care since 2016. She is very passionate about caring for others, and always offers her support whenever possible.
In her spare time Morgan enjoys reading/completing puzzles, and spending time with her family. She also spends a lot of time with her German Shephard Max.


Shannon Fraser

Client Care Assistant

After leaving school, Shannon studied and qualified as a beauty therapist, completing her levels 1 and 2 at South Essex Beauty Academy College. She then went on to Debut Academy to complete her level 3 beauty therapist apprenticeship.

Shannon has always had an interest in client care and loves meeting new people and learning new skills.

In her spare time, Shannon likes to catch up and socialise with friends and family. She also enjoys baking and catching up with films and watching TV series. She also loves spending time with her fur babies Lilly and Simba.


Rebecca Grimbly

Client Care Assistant

BA Hons First Degree

Rebecca joined Southfields in September 2022 having worked at H&M, originally as a sales advisor and progressing to department Manager.
In her spare time Rebecca likes to go to the gym, socialise with friends and spending time with her family especially her Son.
Rebecca has always liked working in customer service and loves working with Animals.


Jessica Hall

Client Experience Lead Role

Before joining our team, Jessica qualified as a hairdresser and worked in a salon after leaving school. She left the salon in 2013 and worked as a self-employed hairdresser, whilst also working in a supermarket. She now works full time as our Early Receptionist.

Jessica lives at home with her family’s 9 Spaniels and 1 cat. She is the younger sister of our Operations Assistant, Sarah and daughter of our Saturday Receptionist, Susan.


Emily Johnson

Client Care Assistant

OCNLR Level 3 in Canine Hydrotherapy

Prior to joining Southfields Emily worked as a Hydrotherapist for three years, where she helped rehabilitate dogs and cats.

Emily has always had a passion for animals from a very young age. What encouraged her to look in the direction of animal care was linked to the experience of her own dog who suffered spinal issues and required two spinal operations, the last one being performed here at Southfields.

In her spare time Emily enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her 14-year-old Cockapoo Teddy


Stephanie Jones

Client Care Assistant

2:1 BSc With Honours

Stephanie (preferred name Stevie) always wanted to work in the animal industry since she was a little girl and started to live her dream when she completed her degree in Animal Science in 2022.

Since then she has spent her last few years developing different skills within other job sectors but is now very excited to have found her way back to the animal industry through Southfields.

She spends most of her time listening to all genres of music and loves attending music festivals specifically Download festival. Stephanie also loves a good movie marathon, her favourite being Lord of the rings.


Rebecca Middleditch

Client Care Assistant

Before joining the team, Bec worked in the care industry for 10 years specialising in dementia care.
She has a passion for the outdoors and taking her naughty one year old cocker spaniel on long walks.
Since she was very young, Bec always had a passion for animals so feels being part of the Southfields team is the perfect place for her to be.


Margaret Webster

Client Care Assistant

Qualified Pet Bereavement Councillor

Before joining Southfields, Margaret worked as PA to the leadership team at Butlins Minehead, relocating from Essex to Somerset in 2019 before moving back home in 2023.
Previous to that she worked at a Veterinary Hospital in Essex which treated small animals and horses, firstly as a receptionist then as office admin. It was there she did the Pet Bereavement Training and realised just how much she loved working with both animals and owners.

In her spare time, she loves walking, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.


Amanda Wing

Client Care Assistant

Bronze Level BVRA

Amanda worked in a local Primary Care veterinary practice since 2019 and joined Southfields as a Client Care Assistant in March 2023. She has always had a love for animals but this job role made her realise how much she enjoy spending time helping both owners and their pets.

In her spare time Amanda loves to spend time with her husband and two sons. Loves taking countryside walks and being a weekend football mum
