Alfie is a Hermann’s tortoise. He is 9 years old and belongs to Katie Lewis, our Diagnostic Imaging Registered Veterinary Nurse. Katie has had Alfie since he was 3 months old, he arrived from Hull in the post by courier.

Alfie loves biting toes but his favourite food is petunia leaves and banana.

A funny story about Alife is that he climbed the ivy in Katie’s garden and escaped into the neighbour's garden! Alfie patrols the back door waiting for Katie to come out in the morning. Every night he takes himself to bed.

Alife twerks when his back is scratched and he is very mischievous. When his name is called he comes like a dog!
