At Southfields, we make it as easy as possible for you to refer patients. You can make online referrals via our VetHub portal, or by calling our Client Care team on 01268 564664.

We commit to delivering the highest quality service to referring vets, supporting your client relationships and honouring the trust your clients have in you. We provide help and support whenever your clients require it and keep you informed at every stage.

We aim to transfer your patients back to your care as soon as possible after you refer them to us but, far more importantly, our prime focus is on providing the best possible outcome and the highest standards of care.

Discuss a potential pet referral

If you wish to discuss a potential referral, would like advice on which approach to take about a case or to discuss a patient that we have already seen, please call our Client Care team on 01268 564664.

Emergency, urgent and out-of-hours referrals

Please call reception on 01268 564664 to speak to a member of staff for emergency, urgent and out-of-hours referral cases.
You do not need to complete an online referral form for these cases

Online referrals via our VetHub Patient Advice and Referral System

The innovative way to communicate with our Specialist teams

Online referrals and advice requests can be made via VetHub. Providing help and support for your day-to-day practice, VetHub is the ideal solution when you need some advice, a second opinion, or just want to make sure you’re making the most appropriate and informed decision for your patients and clients.

To keep things simple, you can also send your referrals from VetHub and even turn an advice request into a referral at the touch of a button, without the need to re-enter the same information.

Client appointment arrangements

Our reception staff will contact either you or your client directly to arrange an appointment, depending on your contact preference.
